Description

re-submitted For purple day
A bit smaller than A4 water colour pain, bits of pencil.
no one outside of DA can understand creativety, they have nio imaginations (Walsall College!) So they criticize in a childish manner.

each image has a meaning to it for example; the egg for new lif, the crow for the grim reaper, death. Below is a longer explanation

Creativity in this case is the evolution and transformation of the piece of paper, I based it on transformation. The first thing that came to mind was a phoenix, but that represents re-birth and therefore did not fit, a better idea later after watching wolf-man was a were-wolf, a clear representation for transformation from a small, weak human to a fierce, powerful and amazing creature, from plain boring paper to masterpiece.
I made it drool to show hunger for creativity and blood for the sometimes suffering for art. The torn shirt was obvious I wanted to make this piece look in the moment of inspiration and transformation.

The pages below her are there to look like a starting point to the next part of the image. A flow of colours and random things that came to mind first, a raven or crow is a representative of misfortune and death (a very small weak version of the grim reaper), in this case failure. So I painted over it for the sake of painting over it, i think maybe to ignore what could possibly end in failure, but failure is part of improvement so it is a good thing sometimes which is why I added this crow to my painting.

Next the small brain with wings, everything stems from the mind, this image was not something I had planned before, I just went along with what came next which made sense once i had added the wings, to show freely lowing ideas.

A woman outline, women are more art worthy, a symbol of elegance and beauty (once upon a time). She acts as a contrast from the savage and detailed were-wolf. Holding a gear as a representation for work and an egg for birth.

The fish is like the crow they don’t make sense until afterwards. I painted it to look exotic, bright and it matches the flow of colours and adds a delicate side to this painting, the bubbles I have no Idea but the butterfly is also a representation of natural beauty. The moon as a clock to show the time needed and patience.

There is a wall behind it all to the right hand side, because this flow of random images was painted onto to this dull grey wall by the were-wolf and as it progresses it becomes more then a painting, thus it coming off the wall.
Lastly, the were-wolf’s mighty fist, not acting as an offensive symbol, only to those who stand in the way of the creative flow.

very nice, I suppose the wolf has to be creative in order to eat.  Strange, right, it has to kill something, destroy it, in order to "create" itself, give itself continued life.
